Based on a 1772 design by Jean Nicolas Lambert (on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London)

Made of typical woods, likely spruce and maple
7×7 strings
Sounds good tuned to 415 as well
Hand carved neck and head, figure of blindfolded Cupid (because Love is Blind)
Handmade display case of birch and (possibly) cherry, made about the same time, needs a little repair
Travel case available (modified viola case)
